The architect, Mr. Richardson, designed the Allegheny County Courthouse with a huge hole in the center, like a doughnut, so there could be many more windows to bring light into the building. You’ll see a fountain and place to sit and relax in that huge space today. It’s called the Courthouse Courtyard. |
