This is what Station Square looked like when it was the headquarters of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad. For 113 years, from 1879 until 1992, the P&LERR carried thousands of people almost every day from one place to another and hauled tons of freight. The P&LERR was called the "Little Giant" because it hauled so much freight.
