Film Screening: Frank Lloyd Wright

Join us for a film screening and discussion on Frank Lloyd Wright, who is often considered the greatest of American architects for his revolutionary designs and structures. The architect, whose portfolio of more than eight hundred buildings includes such significant landmarks like Fallingwater, the Guggenheim Museum, Johnson Wax Building, Unity Temple and Taliesin among others.

The film screening will be followed by a short discussion of his work and a question-and-answer session facilitated by Scott Perkins, director of preservation at Fallingwater.

Scott joined Fallingwater in 2013 and is completing his PhD in Design History at the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design and Culture in New York City.  A board member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, he is currently writing on the life and work of Eugene Beyer Masselink, an apprentice of and secretary to Frank Lloyd Wright from 1933 to 1959. He is a graduate of the School of the Arts Institute in Chicago.
