August Wilson Guidebook Book Signing at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Hill District

February 27, 2012 @ 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm

Free - Call to RSVP

In honor of Black History Month, the Squirrel Hill and Hill District branches of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh are hosting book talks and author’s signing for August Wilson: Pittsburgh Places in His Life and Plays, published by PHLF in February 2011.  PHLF members and friends are invited to attend.

Authors Larry Glasco and Chris Wawson will be available to sign autographs, as well as family members and friends of the Pittsburgh-born, Pulitzer-prize-winning playwright August Wilson (1945-2005).  Freda Ellis, eldest sister of the late playright, has been instrumental in organizing these events.

The guidebook will be available for sale for the special price of $8.50, including sales tax.  If you cannot attend, you may purchase the book on-line by clicking here.

Reservations are not required for either event but are appreciated.  Please contact Mary Lu Denny at marylu@phlf.org or by phone 412-471-5808.
